The four steps. The whole product.

Most remittance products bury their model. We don't. Here's exactly what happens between you opening the page and your family receiving the money.

1Step one

Pick your route

Choose where you're sending from (your country) and where you're sending to (your family). Type the amount, pick a delivery method (mobile transfer or bank).

We currently support sending from the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, and across the Eurozone (Ireland, Germany, France, Netherlands, Italy, Spain and more) — to Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, Tanzania, and Cameroon. Senegal is next.

Both selectors are searchable. Don't see your country? You can still join the waitlist for it directly from the dropdown.

2Step two

We watch the market for you

Our proprietary rate engine pulls live quotes from Wise, Sendwave, NALA, Remitly, WorldRemit, Western Union, and Boss Money every 30 minutes. Each rate is compared against the true mid-market reference — the actual interbank rate banks use to trade currencies — to surface any hidden markup.

The rates are always fresh. You don't refresh anything — the engine does the work.

Our mid-market reference uses Wise's transparent interbank rate, with an independent exchange-rate API (open.er-api) as a fallback, so the benchmark never depends on a single source. The math stays honest.

Remitly127.18 · +1.53%
WorldRemit126.50 · +2.05%

3Step three

See the true cost — markup and all

Most apps quote "$0 fee" then bake 1–4% margin into the exchange rate. We calculate that hidden markup against the mid-market rate and show you the true cost on every comparison.

The provider with the best headline rate isn't alwaysthe cheapest. The one with "$0 fee" almost never is. We do the math so you don't have to.

We show each provider's markup against the mid-market rate on every card, so the true cost is visible before you send. No "$0 fee" tricks.

4Step four

Send via the best provider

Click through to the winning provider with one tap. We don't handle your money— the actual transfer happens on the provider's regulated platform.

We earn a small affiliate commission from the provider when you sign up through us, typically $5–$10. You pay the same as if you'd gone direct.

Every affiliate link is disclosed. The Community Pick badge on the comparison shows the most-clicked provider in your corridor over the past week — useful trust signal, completely independent of our commission rates.

What makes RemitBeat different

There are other comparison sites. We're built for one specific audience — the African diaspora — and that focus changes everything.

🌍

Built for diaspora corridors

Generic comparison sites like Monito cover 450+ providers across global routes. We focus on the specific corridors and providers that matter to the African diaspora — and we know them deeply.

🔍

Markup transparency

We show you the hidden margin every provider takes against the mid-market rate. Most comparison tools just show the receive amount — we show the actual cost.

💬

WhatsApp-native (coming soon)

The diaspora lives in WhatsApp group chats. Our bot will let you check rates without leaving the conversation. Phase 2 of our roadmap.

Community pick signal

The provider most clicked through this week in your corridor — a real trust signal from actual diaspora users, completely independent of our affiliate commission rates.

🔒

We never hold your funds

We're a comparison and referral platform only. All transfers happen on the provider's regulated platform. No money transmitter license, no custody risk.

📊

Independent affiliate disclosure

Every "Send via" button discloses our affiliate relationship transparently. We re-rank by what saves you the most money — never by what earns us the most commission.
